BUDVA BAY PROMENADE

The Budva Bay Promenade project was an international two-stage competition organized by the government of Montenegro. The main challenge of this urban competition was to transform the coastal route of the city of Budva into the new capital of European culture. Spanning 11 kilometers along the city's coastline, the project proposes various areas of use, including residential and office towers, commercial zones, recreational spaces, waterfront promenades, green areas, and sports facilities. This project highlights the importance of cultural exchange in shaping urban spaces, and how it can transform the urban fabric into a dynamic and vibrant cultural landscape. The project promotes cultural understanding, celebrates diversity, and fosters creativity, all while respecting the natural environment and promoting sustainable urbanism
