DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF THE OLD HANGLAS SITE

The Hanglas Development Plan, an open, international competition supported by the government of
Busan, South Korea, addresses the task of revitalizing a dormant port area, reimagining it as an urban center that integrates seamlessly with the city and its coastal environment. Covering an area of more than 450,000 square meters, the project houses a wide range of functions, including residential and office towers, commercial areas, recreational spaces, promenades, green areas and sports facilities. With its dynamic architectural design, the project seeks to establish itself as a landmark in the northern region of the district, symbolizing a new era of urban development.
