SEOUL METROPOLITAN LIBRARY

The main goal was to design a library that isn’t just a repository of books but a living narrative. A space where Seoul's past, present, and future converge, providing visitors a holistic experience of the city's cultural, natural, and progressive facets.
To achieve the main goal of the project, four keywords were taken into account: books, Hanok, Natural Landscape, and Growth. All of them, in combination, seek to build a narrative that integrates the different characteristics and qualities of Seoul's culture and its citizens.
